Background

The International Conference on Natural Language Processing, Vision and Robotics (NLPVR 2026) aims to establish a high-level interdisciplinary platform for global scholars, engineers, and industry leaders to exchange ideas and foster collaboration. The conference focuses on the convergence of artificial intelligence with natural language processing, computer vision, and robotics, exploring both theoretical advancements and practical applications.

Key topics include intelligent language understanding and generation, multimodal perception and vision-based decision-making, autonomous robotic systems, human–robot interaction, and cross-domain innovations in AI-driven automation. NLPVR 2026 will address challenges such as robust perception in dynamic environments, adaptive learning for intelligent agents, and efficient collaboration between humans and machines.

Goal/Rationale

NLPVR 2026 serves as a premier interdisciplinary forum that bridges the synergies between natural language processing, computer vision, and intelligent robotics. Our mission is to create a collaborative environment where linguists, computer scientists, and robotics engineers can advance the development of context-aware, visually grounded, and action-driven intelligent systems.   • Optical sensing and vision-based AI for mechatronic systems, including photonic signal processing, optical feedback control, and AI-enhanced optical metrology
  • LiDAR, structured light, hyperspectral imaging, and vision-based environment understanding
  • Optical communication and optical sensing networks for multi-agent coordination and distributed intelligence
  • AI-enhanced optical diagnostics, real-time optical feedback for resilient control, and fault detection

Accepted papers of this symposium will be published in SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering (ISSN: 0277-786X), and will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus, and other databases for indexing. The situation may be affected by factors among databases like processing time, workflow, policy, etc.

This special symposium is co-organized by CONF-CDS 2026 and NLPVR 2026, and will independently proceed the submission and publication process.
